To solve our worldly problem we must dramatically reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by moving away from traditional sources of fossil-fuelled energy to alternative renewable sources. Solar Power is our leading solution as it is a truly zero-emission electricity source. One megawatt hour of solar-derived electricity avoids our planet approximately one tonne of carbon dioxide.
Today governments all around the world are implementing initiatives to encourage increased use Solar Energy sources. The cumulative total of Solar PV power installed globally at the start of 2009 was 15,000 megawatts, this was an increase from a global total of 9,000 megawatts only one year earlier.
We must continue this bold movement, learn from our past of industrial damage and take the future into our own hands saying loud and clear “this is what we want, a clean energy future”.
